Sailing on North Sea toward Olden

In Stavanger, Norway we spent a leisurely Sunday strolling around the old town port which is circled with charming white house’s topped with red tile roofs. It was a nice surprise to find the Norway Games underway. It is a Special Olympics championship affair, an assortment of games such as water polo, wheelchair basketball, kayak races and kayak water polo, Judo, climbing wall, and a modified curling contest. Great fun to see these energetic youngsters and families and try to figure out the rules and interpret the announcements in Norwegian.
