Karnak is Magnificent

We finished our time on the lovely Nile River boat The Oberoi by going to the Valley of the Kings and the Karnak Temple. Overwhelming and astounding doesn’t begin to express the images we’ve seen on this journey. Not a lot of time to create a blog, we’ve been so busy photographing and staring at monuments, statues, temples and tombs! The ancient history and the archeological discoveries are jaw-dropping and we’ve been guided by one the the world’s foremost Egyptologists, a man who has participated in many of the archleogical digs.
