Wonderful Wagon Trail Ranch

On our way, north on Hwy 287 with anticipation of a fun get-away with great buddies, the Meade’s and Roviras. Tom and Mary hosted us at their spacious Wagon Trail Ranch west of Laramie.

Jerry’s elegant culinary creation, salad caprese was tasty and pretty. Marlon’s bread made from scratch was a crowd pleaser!

Blurry focus on the elk herd we enjoyed watching at a distance, maybe 28 cows and a Big Daddy buck. It is rutting season.

Woods Landing Resort is a historical treasure, a saloon and dance hall and gas station, a stop for weary travelers, truckers, tourists and highway workers.

Always my favorite time of year, Rocky Mountain autumn colors feed my soul. We’ve been fortunate to see many amazing and magnificent sights around the world, and the Rockies are at the top of the list. Stunning!
