We made it to the Artic Circle overnight and didn’t feel a thing! The Lofoten archipelago of northern Norway is picturesque and sunny! 😎 we won’t see the sun go down tonight— this summer Solstice will be memorable! Midnight Sun is not imaginary!

On to Tromso yet more superb scenery awaits!

One of the highlights of the day was a visit to this football field carved into the granite island. Surprise astroturf!

Trollfjord, a sailing feat to squeeze thru this narrow passage. Only a small ship like ours could enter this fjord and our captain conducted a cruise master class, even turning 360 degree circles twice! Impressive show of seamanship!

Huge racks for drying cod fish, the principal catch for the residents of the Arctic. The dried fish can be reconstituted with water…tasty?
