FLOWER POWER

Denver, Colorado
A hard rainstorm with high winds yesterday afternoon was scary. We were worried that our lovely flowers would be battered. Fortunately no hail! Spring has rewarded Jerry’s attention to the grass annd trees, and the perennials, like the crowd-pleasing allium, personal favorite peony and iris, are showing off!
We’re lucky to have some energetic and enthusiastic neighbors who pitched in to plant of annual flower pots. Everyone seems to agree the appearance of our home is looking better than ever. The maintenance man, AKA Jerry, gets lots of props for his daily efforts to keep things in ship shape and patrol the lawn for dog poop! Our building is about to embark on some planned maintenance such as a new roof, top coat of our parking lot and replacing two elevators — all very expensive undertakings. We’re pretty pleased that our HOA has managed the finances and successfully amassed the funds to attack these projects without additional assessments for homeowners. Conservative management and planning pays off!
